Jordan Steady
Jordan was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and moved to Apex, North Carolina, with her family when she was a few years old and they later moved to Greenville, South Carolina. She fell in love with the NC mountains during her time at Appalachian State University and made Boone her home after graduating.
Jordan got her start in the real estate industry as a leasing agent and supply/inventory manager for Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins for a few years and then as a leasing /property manager for Boone High Country Rentals. During this time, she also earned her real estate license and became a Broker/Realtor®. Jordan chose to move to Charlotte in 2018 because it is a vibrant city with so many opportunities and the housing market appealed to her. She spent a few years as a top producing agent with a local real estate firm before joining Corcoran HM Properties in early 2022. One of her favorite joys of being a Broker/Realtor® is introducing newcomer clients to the Queen City and the surrounding areas and helping them get settled into their new home. She is dedicated to making sure each client has as seamless transaction and is committed to making sure they are well informed as she manages the negotiations of each transaction. She is an efficient communicator, organized, sharp, kind, and authentic. Home has always been a very important concept to her and believes there is something amazing about mixing service, communication, and the ideas of “home”.
Jordan lives in the popular Selwyn neighborhood with her 10-year old husky/hound, Denali. She has a big heart for animals and volunteers and donates to a number of local rescues. She also enjoys all types of lake activities, hiking, kayaking, staying fit, DIY home decorating, and visiting new restaurants and attractions. Jordan and her long-time boyfriend even built a tiny home by hand in the NC mountains before it became popular and enjoyed living off-grid for a few years!
