Greg grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and loved spending time outdoors, but eventually also acquired a passion for food, cooking and entertaining from his mother. After graduating from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, he followed his love for food and service into the restaurant business and managed restaurants in Florida, California, Hawaii and Georgia. Along the way, Greg married his high school sweetheart, Liz, and they moved to Charlotte to open his own restaurant, McIntosh’s Steaks and Seafood, which was a staple in the Charlotte fine dining scene for many years.

Real Estate has become a family calling for the McIntosh family. His wife, Liz, has been a top producing Broker/Realtor®® at HM Properties for many years and their eldest son, Greg, works in Charlotte’s commercial real estate market.

After spending 31 years as a restaurateur, Greg transitioned his expertise in the service industry into residential real estate. He and Liz work at HM Properties and his goal is to provide each client with exceptional service whether helping with their first or second home, investment property, or downsizing.

Greg and Liz live in the SouthPark area of Charlotte and have three wonderful young adult children: Gregory, Graham and Thomas, and a Golden Retriever named Murphy. He enjoys spending free time cooking for family and friends, traveling, and time outdoors fishing or hunting whenever possible.
