We moved to Charlotte in 1993 after living in many different states and I’ve refused to leave ever since. It is home for my family which includes my husband and two adult daughters. I’ve been through school zonings, PTA meetings, yearly fundraisers, many different collegiate sports, homeowner associations that are too strict or not strict enough, and the countless orange barrels of the never-ending Charlotte road construction.
