I grew up in Durham, North Carolina, with wonderful parents and three brothers. To say that watching sports was part of my childhood is an understatement. After college in Chapel Hill, I worked for a group of real estate attorneys and “pulled books at the Durham and Wake County Courthouses searching titles. I also worked for a real estate developer in the Triangle area before getting my real estate license many moons ago. After working in several facets of the real estate industry, I quickly learned that selling was my passion and a sales career is where I needed to focus my energy.

My first experience in residential real estate sales was selling condos in Raleigh, North Carolina. After a couple successful years with Grubb Properties, I completely switched gears and moved to New York City and had an amazing nine year career as an account executive with Coach Leatherware and traveled across the United States. Selling handbags and accessories for the Department Store Division at Coach is what brought me to Charlotte.

After getting married and having children later in life, I soon realized that I missed SELLING and that I would be a better wife and mother if I returned to work. I've been extremely fortunate since reinstating my real estate license almost 10 years ago. Best of all, I have an incredible client base and their referrals are what keeps me going!

My husband, Bill, works in commercial real estate in Charlotte. We have a son, William (6th grade) and a daughter, Ruthie (5th grade) who were put on this earth to make me a better person! I joined HM Properties when it was founded in 2006. I expect excellent customer service and follow through when dealing with a salesperson. Treating my clients the way I want to be treated is my goal with each transaction.
