A native Charlottean, I grew up in the Myers Park and Eastover neighborhoods. After graduating from Appalachian State University, I worked at Bissell-Hayes Realtors as a Broker/Realtor for 11 years. On September 5, 2006, I joined HM Properties just a few weeks after it was founded.

I am a graduate of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association (CRRA) and Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Leadership Schools. From 2001-2004, I was appointed to the Grievance Committee for CRRA, Professional Standards Committee from 2005-present, and was the Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee 2007, 2008 and 2012. In April 2008, I was appointed to serve as a Mediator for CRRA.

My family includes my husband, David, a UNC Chapel Hill graduate who is currently Senior Vice President with Bank of America splitting his time between Charlotte and California. We have a son, Mason (18); daughter, Catey (15); and Ginger, our Labrador/Husky mix. Currently, we live in the Quail Hollow neighborhood, but have also enjoyed living in the Piper Glen and Dilworth communities.
