Born in Orlando, Florida, Chip Moon moved to Charlotte at the age of two. He attended Myers Park High School and graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, with a B.A. in English. After graduation, he joined the United States Army for two years where he was headquartered in Fort Myers, Virginia, and worked at the Pentagon.

Chip has a extensive experience in sales and managed his own company, Chip Moon & Associates, for nearly 25 years. During this time, he traveled all over the world and managed national key accounts. Since 2003, he has held key positions with Fox Premier Sales (Vice President of Sales); Corporate Data Products (Vice President of Sales); and most recently worked for Harris Land Co. as the Vice President of Marketing, Property Management & Construction. In 2011, Chip and his wife, Rivers, joined HM Properties.

Working as a team, they are able to provide each of their clients exceptional service. Rivers and Chip have been married for over 40 years and they have two adult sons, two grandsons and one granddaughter.
